Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong understanding of dental practices. This role involves working closely with patients to provide preventative care, perform assessments, and assist in various dental procedures. The Dental Hygienist will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our patients while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
Duties
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and vital signs monitoring.
Perform dental cleanings and scaling procedures using appropriate tools and techniques.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and aseptic techniques to enhance patient care.
Requirements
Valid dental hygiene license.
Knowledge of digital imaging techniques and general dentistry practices.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, documentation review, and dental coding practices.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while providing exceptional patient care.
Excellent communication skills to educate patients on their oral health needs effectively.
