Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting optimal oral health. Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using dental imaging equipment while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong dental health.
Assist with chairside procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficient workflow and patient comfort.
Manage electronic health records, ensuring accurate documentation of treatments, medical records, and medical coding.
Maintain infection prevention standards through aseptic techniques, sterilization of dental equipment, and compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
Support the dental team with equipment setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth daily operations.
Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, supporting seamless communication within the healthcare team.
Qualifications
Active State Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.
Current CPR / BLS certification.
Local Anesthesia certification
Proficiency with digital practice management software and digital imaging.
Strong communication skills and a patient-first clinical mindset.
Pay: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour
