Job Description
Dr. Harvey Zhang is seeking a full-time/part-time dental hygienist in his dental office, Ossian Smile Family Dentistry in Ossian, IN.
We are an established private dental practice committed to delivering exceptional patient care. You will be joining a tight-knit, collaborative team of professionals in a clinical environment equipped with advanced technology. We pride ourselves on creating a comfortable, efficient workspace for our staff and a welcoming atmosphere for our patients.
Schedule
Work Days: Monday through Thursday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Perform dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and applying fluoride.
Conduct comprehensive patient screenings, including oral health assessments and periodontal charting.
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.
Taking dental radiographs.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
Ensure all clinical equipment is properly sterilized and maintained in accordance with standard protocols.
Qualifications
Valid Dental Hygienist license for the state of Indiana.
Experience: Experience is preferred, but new graduates are highly encouraged to apply and are welcome on our team.
Strong communication skills and a patient-first mentality.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented clinical environment.
