A busy, well-established Laser Dental Centre in Alta Vista is looking for permanent full time Registered Dental Hygienist. Responsibilities
Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth to prevent oral disease.
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix.
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Manage patient scheduling, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.
Qualifications
Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
Experience with DentrIX software is preferred.
Previous experience in dental assisting or working within a dental office setting is beneficial.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism and compassion. This position offers an engaging work environment where your skills contribute directly to improving patients' oral health while providing opportunities for professional growth within our practice.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
