Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, possess strong clinical skills, and have a friendly demeanor to ensure a positive patient experience. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, providing essential dental services to patients of all ages. Prior experience with dental office software and a background in customer service are highly valued.
Duties
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take dental radiographs as needed
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
Maintain accurate patient records
Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments
Ensure the sterilization of dental instruments and maintain a clean, organized treatment area
Address patient questions regarding treatment plans and post-care instructions
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist license in good standing
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $58.00-$60.00 per hour
