Schedule
Monday – Thursday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
Optional Fridays: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (not required, but incentivized)

Responsibilities
Review and update patient medical histories and take blood pressure
Perform comprehensive intraoral and extraoral examinations, including oral cancer screenings
Conduct periodontal assessments and maintain accurate documentation and charting
Develop and implement individualized dental hygiene treatment plans
Perform prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing procedures
Demonstrate advanced periodontal instrumentation techniques
Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation
Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations
Provide nutritional counseling and tobacco cessation education
Apply topical fluoride varnish and dental sealants
Capture intraoral photographs and digital radiographs
Interpret radiographic findings and communicate concerns appropriately
Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols
Acquire iTero scans
Send correspondence to specialists, such as periodontists
Qualifications
Current Kansas Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) License
Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene (or higher)
Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Compassionate, friendly, and patient-centered approach
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
Experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
