We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team who will be responsible for performing dental hygiene functions such as preventative, restorative and periodontal treatment. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and work well with patients, other staff members and other administrative personnel. Strong emphasis is placed on patient education and prevention of future dental problems. As a dental hygenist, you should be reliable and able to build trust with patients of all ages. We are hoping to find someone who has a patient and friendly personality, is detail oriented, and would like to work in a fun team-oriented atmosphere. If that is you, we would like to meet you.

What You'll Do:
Provide preventive and periodontal care
Educate patients on oral health and home care
Build lasting relationships with patients
Work alongside an energetic, team-oriented staff
Help patients feel comfortable, confident, and cared for
Be able to imput dental records, treatment plans, and notes via patient software database system.

Know how to properly schedule appointments and coordinate with other staff members.

Be able to take necessary x-rays (pano, FMX, bitewings & Pa's).

Be able to properly sterilize, disinfect, and maintain dental instruments.

Be able to assist dentist with selecting appropriate treatments and identify various diseases (gingivitis, caries, periodontal disease, oral cancer) and be able to explain procedures to patients.
