Job Description

Paleczny Certified Specialist in Orthodontists is seeking a passionate part-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our well-established practice in North Bay, Ontario. This is a replacement position within our established orthodontic team.

How You’ll Make an Impact
Responsible for assisting the orthodontist in the delivery of patient care
Direct bonding of brackets
Insert/cement appliances
Invisalign delivery
Remove bonding adhesive with a high-speed handpiece
Deliver patient personal oral hygiene care, appliance, and elastic instructions
Educate patient and parents on treatment progress
Chart procedures
Ability to perform other duties as required for the efficient operation of the practice.
The Teammate We’re Looking For
Registered Dental Hygienist from an accredited program with a current license to practice in Ontario.
Current CPR certification
Maintain our goals of obtaining the best possible results for our patients.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; proficiency with orthodontic management software systems is an asset.
Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written), with a proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members and the community.
Keen attention-to-detail and time management skills.
Strong conflict resolution, problem solving and decision-making skills.
