Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and patient education in a professional and compassionate manner.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct dental cleanings and assist dentists with procedures
- Perform oral health assessments and charting
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Administer local anesthetics
- Maintain accurate patient records
Skills:
- Proficiency in using dental office systems, including Epic software
- Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and medical coding
- Familiarity with CAD software for dental applications
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols
- Ability to take vital signs and interpret medical imaging results
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with medical coding and billing procedures
- Knowledge of advanced dental technologies and equipment
