Job Description
Currently Hiring For: Fridays 9am - 2pm
Overview
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Dental Hygienist to join our fast-paced and patient-focused dental practice. The ideal candidate will be proficient in chairside assisting, patient care, and knowledgeable in using dental software. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient clinic operations and delivering outstanding service to our patients.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and vital signs.
Utilize medical imaging systems to capture diagnostic images as needed (Dentrix Ascend a plus).
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental care.
Maintain knowledge of dental terminology and medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
Proficient in four-handed dentistry techniques.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health.
Familiarity with medical imaging systems and procedures.
Ability to assess vital signs and document findings accurately.
Experience in documentation review within a dental clinic setting is advantageous.
Understanding of both dental terminology and general medical terminology is essential for effective communication.
