Job Description
This Is Not Your Typical Dental Office
Are you an ambitious hygienist who wants to grow, learn, and be part of a practice that's doing things differently?
At The Dental Wellness Company, we practice all aspects of dentistry in a highly advanced, multidisciplinary environment—from comprehensive general dentistry to full-arch implant rehabilitation. Our practice combines advanced technology, surgical innovation, functional and whole-person care, and a commitment to exceptional patient outcomes..
What Makes Us Different?
Our team works in an environment that includes:
Full-arch implant dentistry and comprehensive general dentistry
Yomi surgical robotic technology — an FDA-cleared robotic system for dental implant surgery
Full general anesthesia — a capability that is unique in our local market
Advanced facial and intraoral scanning technology
AI-powered dental software and radiology
In-house milling and 3D printing of prosthetics
Sleep apnea treatment
Facial aesthetics, including Botox and dermal fillers
A focus on mental health and functional medicine
A practice philosophy centered on comprehensive, whole-person care
Direct exposure to advanced implant dentistry and full-arch treatment
The Opportunity
You'll have the opportunity to work around advanced procedures and technology and gain exposure to areas of dentistry that many hygienists don't encounter in a traditional general practice. For the right person, this can be more than a hygiene job—it can be an opportunity to learn, grow, and develop a deeper understanding of modern dentistry and implant treatment.
What You'll Do
Provide dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planning, and polishing as permitted by Ohio licensure and practice protocols
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and review medical and dental histories
Take dental radiographs in accordance with applicable requirements
Complete periodontal charting and identify/document periodontal conditions
Educate patients about oral hygiene, periodontal health, preventive care, and recommended home-care techniques
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Follow OSHA, CDC, HIPAA, and infection-control standards
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment
Collaborate closely with the dentist and clinical team
Support an efficient, high-quality patient experience
Perform other duties as assigned
We're looking for an RDH who is:
Currently licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Ohio
Authorized/certified to expose dental radiographs as required
Passionate about patient care and preventive dentistry
Comfortable working in a technologically advanced environment
Detail-oriented and committed to clinical excellence
A strong communicator who can educate and connect with patients
A team player who enjoys working alongside other motivated professionals
Open Dental experience is preferred but not required.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Frequently stand, sit, bend, reach, and perform repetitive hand and wrist movements during patient care activities.
Utilize dental instruments and equipment requiring fine motor skills and manual dexterity.
Occasionally lift and carry supplies and equipment for up to 25 pounds.
Work in a clinical environment with potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens and other occupational hazards while using required personal protective equipment.
Maintain compliance with infection control and workplace safety standards.
