Job Description
Overview
We are looking for a hygienist to join our team and work part-time on Fridays from 7:30 to 4 PM starting in October.
Stadium Dental is a growing private practice dental office located in the heart of Jefferson City, right off of Missouri Boulevard. We believe in providing superior dental care for all of our patients, and we foster a positive work environment for everyone involved. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, focusing on preventive dental health, and ensuring a comfortable experience for our patients. This position requires a thorough understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations, including taking vital signs and medical histories.
Perform dental cleanings and apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Ensure infection control protocols are followed, maintaining a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care in both general and pediatric dentistry settings.
Stay updated on dental terminology, medical coding, and aseptic techniques relevant to the practice.
Experience
Previous experience in a dental office or clinic is highly preferred.
Familiarity with Dentrix software is advantageous.
Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge, medical terminology, and infection control standards is essential.
Proven ability to provide compassionate patient care while effectively communicating treatment plans and recommendations.
Job Type: Part-time
Base Pay: $350.00 - $400.00 per day
