Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide quality oral care and hygiene services to our patients, ensuring their dental health is maintained at the highest level.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Perform oral cancer screenings and take X-rays
- Administer local anesthetics
- Maintain and update patient dental records
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Experience:
- Anatomy knowledge
- Experience in pediatrics
- Familiarity with medical terminology and coding
- Previous work in a dental office setting
- Proficiency in taking vital signs
- Knowledge of medical records systems, including Epic
- Skilled in aseptic techniques
