Join our dynamic dental team at TJ Dental as a Registered Dental Hygienist and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, educate patients on oral health, and support the overall success of our dental practice. Your expertise will help foster a welcoming environment where patients feel cared for, informed, and confident in their smile. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting dedicated to excellence. We are a single-doctor general dentistry practice that also provides high-end implants and cosmetic treatments. We also pride ourselves on using state-of-the-art technologies; such as intra-oral cameras, scanners, Velscopes, Overjet and more.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
Take digital dental radiographs.
Ensure proper infection control protocols.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote lifelong dental health.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, review documentation for accuracy, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations.
Passion for dentistry.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques.
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to diverse patient needs .
Active anesthesia license preferred.
Proficiency with Eaglesoft preferred.
Pay: $40.00 - $48.00 per hour
