Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our friendly and experienced dental team at our well established privately owned family practice in Port Colborne. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during each visit. This position requires excellent communication skills and a passion for patient care.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and oral examinations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and patient confidentiality using Abeldent dental software .
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient experience.
Qualifications
Graduate of accredited dental hygiene program
Duly licensed and registered with CDHO
Strong customer service skills
Proficient in medical terminology
Familiarity with Abeldent software
Excellent communication skills for patients of all ages
Fours day averaging about 30 hours a week with remuneration based on experience.
