We are fully out-of-network with insurance, which allows us to focus on quality care, patient relationships, and doing dentistry the right way.

Our office is equipped with advanced technology, including CBCT, CEREC same-day crowns, Solea laser, digital scanning, 3D printing, clear aligner therapy, sleep appliances, implant dentistry, and modern restorative systems.

Our hygienists are an essential part of our patient experience, periodontal care, treatment planning, and long-term patient health. We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and patient-centered Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Position Summary
The Registered Dental Hygienist provides high-quality preventive and periodontal care while helping patients understand their oral health, recommended treatment, and long-term maintenance needs. This role is ideal for someone who values clinical excellence, patient education, teamwork, and a positive office culture.

Our hygienists are given the time and support needed to provide excellent care. Standard recare appointments are 60 minutes, periodontal therapy appointments are scheduled appropriately, and new patient visits are typically 120 minutes.

Compensation
We offer a very competitive hourly wage with a monthly bonus opportunity.

Compensation is based on experience, clinical skill, schedule availability, and fit with the practice.

Clinical Hours
Typical clinical schedule:
Monday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Some Fridays: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
No weekends
Full-time and part-time candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
Provide excellent preventive and periodontal hygiene care
Perform adult and child prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealants, radiographs, intraoral imaging, and oral cancer screenings
Review medical histories and take blood pressure according to office protocol
Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal disease, restorative needs, home care, and maintenance recommendations
Partner with the doctor to identify treatment needs and support clear patient communication
Help patients understand the value of recommended treatment
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Assist with periodontal diagnosis and treatment planning support
Communicate clearly with the doctor, hygiene team, assistants, and business team
Follow office systems, SOPs, infection control standards, and OSHA/HIPAA requirements
Help create a positive, professional, and uplifting patient experience
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is:
Licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Illinois
Positive, professional, and team-oriented
Confident with patient education and communication
Comfortable discussing periodontal disease, preventive care, and treatment needs
Reliable, organized, and accountable

Willing to follow systems and contribute to a strong team culture
Interested in growing with a modern private practice
Focused on building long-term patient relationships
Preferred Experience
Preferred but not required:
Experience with periodontal therapy and periodontal maintenance
Experience with digital radiographs and intraoral imaging
Experience with Oryx or another cloud-based dental software
Comfort with out-of-network/private practice patient communication
Interest in sleep, airway, myofunctional therapy, laser dentistry, implants, or clear aligners
