Job Description
We have a very exciting opportunity for the right person. We need an exceptional hygienist for our fun, energetic, busy practice. You will be expected to be a team player and jump in wherever you are needed. If you "just clean teeth", this is not the office for you. We need a partner who wants to engage in relationships and life-changing dentistry.
We are willing to train if you are new to the field, but here are a few requirements:
-Anesthesia certification
-CPR certification
-Loupes
-Staying on schedule.
-Doing a thorough examination and communicating your findings to the patient before the Dr. enters the room. You are not diagnosing. You are just sharing your observations and taking pictures of your findings.
-Reviewing the existing treatment on a treatment plan and why it is recommended.
-Being on time for work EVERY day.
-Attending ALL staff meetings.
-Being a TEAM player.
-Availability from 8:15am-5:15pm Part Time/Full Time
-A great smile and friendly attitude.
-A person who builds a connection with their patients. We treat our patients like family, LITERALLY.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive dental prophylaxis including cleaning, scaling, and polishing to maintain optimal oral health.
Conduct patient education on oral hygiene, dental care routines, and preventive strategies; offer dietary counseling as needed.
Perform patient assessments, document findings, and assist with dental diagnoses within scope of practice.
Administer local anesthesia and/or nitrous oxide as certified; monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Build rapport with patients, obtain informed consent, and coordinate care with the dental team.
Maintain accurate records, sterilize instruments, and adhere to infection control protocols.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $37.00 - $42.00 per hour
