Registered Dental Hygienist

**HOURS FLEXIBLE- part-time, full-time, or temporary available**
Job Summary
Our general dentistry practice is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our growing team! The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care by performing professional dental cleanings, educating patients on oral health, and supporting the overall dental team. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of dental procedures and patient interaction. We provide high-quality care in a supportive, team-oriented environment and welcome both experienced hygienists and new graduates.

Responsibilities
Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth to remove plaque, tartar, and stains
Take dental radiographs as needed
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
Assist in identifying oral health issues and communicate findings to the dentist
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software
Support the dental team during procedures and ensure compliance with safety protocols
Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with infection control standards
Experience
Previous experience working in a dental office setting is preferred
Knowledge of Dentrix or other dental practice management software is highly desirable
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations
Schedule
