We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
Assist the dentist during examinations, treatments, and procedures with precision and professionalism
Take and develop diagnostic radiology images such as X-rays to assist in accurate diagnosis
Manage electronic health records (EHR) efficiently, ensuring accurate and up-to-date medical documentation
Monitor patient conditions during procedures, reporting any concerns or abnormalities promptly
Provide health education tailored to individual patient needs, emphasizing the importance of oral health maintenance
Requirements
Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with local regulations
Proven experience in dental hygiene practice, with additional experience in critical care or acute care settings preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology, dental procedures, and diagnostic radiology techniques
Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required
Experience with electronic health records (EHR/EHR management) systems and medical documentation standards
Ability to handle manual tasks such as blood sampling, blood pressure measurement, and patient condition reporting accurately
Prior clinic experience, especially within plastic surgery or surgical environments, is a plus
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry, surgery, and diagnostic imaging is highly desirable
