Job Description
Comprehensive Dental Center is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team. The ideal candidate must hold a valid NC Dental Hygienist License and have experience providing preventive dental care, patient education, and hygiene services. Our hygienists are able to focus on what they do best—providing excellent patient care and building relationships with patients.
Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings, screenings, and preventive hygiene services
Review patient health history and assess oral health conditions
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
Apply fluoride treatments and provide post-procedure instructions
Maintain accurate patient records and dental charts
Follow infection control and HIPAA compliance standards
Collaborate with dentists and the dental team to support patient care
Skills
Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
Outstanding communication skills
A patient and friendly personality
Attention to detail
Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job
Diploma in Dental Hygiene; Master’s is a plus
Valid license to practice
