We are a well established, privately owned, general, group dental practice in Farmington, CT looking to add to our amazing team!
Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH), where your expertise will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting oral health. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will work closely with patients to assess their dental needs, perform professional cleanings, and educate them on maintaining healthy smiles. Duties
Perform comprehensive dental hygiene clinical services, including scaling, root planing, and prophylaxis.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
Take high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral photos
Maintain accurate documentation of patient visits, treatment notes in Dentrix.
Maintain strict adherence to OSHA and CDC guidelines.
Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
Requirements
Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
Current CPR Certification.
Proven experience in general dentistry settings.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and dental imaging techniques.
Familiarity with Dentrix for clinical charting and documentations.
Ability to perform patient care tasks and patient assessments with professionalism.
Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively about their oral health needs.
Demonstrate the ability to prioritize team objectives over individual recognition
