Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health education, and supporting a positive dental experience for all patients. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a focus on patient comfort and comprehensive dental services. Bilingual skills and experience with pediatric patients are highly valued, along with proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix.

Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Provide oral health education tailored to individual patient needs, including proper brushing and flossing techniques
Assist in the development of personalized treatment plans alongside the dentist
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software
Support the dental team with procedures such as applying sealants or fluoride treatments
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a sterile environment
Communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatric patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed
Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality patient care and customer service
Experience
Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) is required
Prior experience working in a dental office setting is preferred, especially with pediatric patients or orthodontics
Proficiency in Dentrix or other dental management software is advantageous
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry is beneficial
Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations
Experience in dental assisting or customer service roles can be an asset in providing comprehensive patient support

Pay: $38.54-$61.54 per hour
