Job Description
Our general dental practice near the San Carlos/La Mesa area of San Diego, is searching for an enthusiastic, passionate, and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team, full-time.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
$65 - 67/hr

Paid Vacation & Paid Sick Time
401k & 4% company matching
Participation in monthly hygiene and team bonus program
Hours are Mon-Thurs 8am - 5pm

Responsibilities:
Scaling and root planning
Be able to select and use appropriate fluoride treatments, laser bacterial reduction, and polish tooth restorations while educating patients on the benefits
Familiarity with intraoral scanning
Be on the same page and assist in the prevention and control of dental caries (decay) and gum disease.
Must have ability to read and review dental history and/or records from patients.
Ability to educate patients regarding the importance of oral hygiene
Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, FEHA, DOL, HR policies and practices)
Familiar with Eaglesoft
Qualifications:
Valid and current Registered Dental Hygienist license in accordance with applicable state licensure requirements
Degree or certification for Hygiene from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to meet state licensure requirements.
