Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

We are a general dentist office looking for a friendly, reliable, trustworthy and skilled dental hygienist who will offer pleasant and comprehensive hygiene appointments for patients. You'll work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and create lasting relationships with new and returning patients up to three days per week (We will consider different candidates for separate days if needed, but prefer one person for all three days). You’ll ensure superior customer service and work with the dentist to ensure every patient receives excellent care. Dental hygienist should be a well-organized team player with great attention to detail. We want you to be skilled in providing direct and indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.

Responsibilities
Take digital radiographs
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Perform dental cleanings, scalings, and periodontal maintenance
Provide oral hygiene instructions
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Maintain accurate patient records
Skills
Proven experience as dental hygienist
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
Additional certification or training is an asset
Nitrous Oxide Monitoring Certification is a plus
Bilingual is a plus
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
