Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

We are hiring a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our growing dental practice. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced dental hygienists and new graduates seeking a supportive, team-oriented environment focused on high-quality patient care.

As a Dental Hygienist, you will provide preventive dental care, perform clinical hygiene procedures, and educate patients on oral health and hygiene.

Dental Hygienist Responsibilities

Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing

Provide adult and pediatric prophylaxis

Complete periodontal charting and periodontal assessments

Take and process digital dental x-rays (radiographs)

Conduct oral health evaluations and review patient medical histories

Educate patients on oral hygiene, gum health, and preventive dental care

Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants

Assist dentist during exams and treatment procedures

Maintain accurate electronic dental records (EHR)

Follow infection control, sterilization, and OSHA safety protocols

Dental Hygienist Requirements

Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Iowa

Degree in Dental Hygiene (Associate’s or Bachelor’s) from an accredited program

New grads welcome; 1+ year experience preferred

Experience with dental software and digital imaging systems

Strong communication and patient education skills

Ability to work in a team-based dental practice environment

Dental Hygienist Pay & Benefits
