Responsibilities
Perform dental hygiene procedures including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and fluoride treatments
Conduct patient assessments and document findings accurately
Take and review digital radiographs
Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations
Assist in identifying and communicating oral health concerns to the dentist
Maintain infection control and OSHA compliance standards
Deliver exceptional patient care and customer service
Qualifications
Required
Active Florida Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) License
Current CPR/BLS Certification
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Preferred
Experience with digital radiography and modern dental software
Local anesthesia certification
Prior clinical experience in a general dentistry setting
