Job Description
We are a friendly, patient-focused family dental practice looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our growing team on a part time basis.
We are a modern, single dentist, owner-operated clinic that values high quality care, strong communication, and a supportive, respectful team environment. We take pride in providing excellent dentistry while maintaining a calm and positive workplace.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hygienist looking for consistent part-time hours in a stable, well organized practice.
Schedule
Part-time: 2-3 days per week
Every other Saturday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
No long weekends!
Compensation
Competitive hourly wage: From $55 per hour, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including scaling and root planing
Perform oral health assessments and periodontal charting
Take and interpret dental radiographs
Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Collaborate with the dentist and clinical team to ensure optimal patient care
Ensure patient comfort and a positive dental experience
Qualifications
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in good standing with the BC College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP)
Strong clinical and communication skills
Patient-focused, gentle, and professional chairside manner
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
New graduates are welcome to apply
Assets (Not Required)
Experience with dental software (Tracker is an asset – training provided)
Experience in a family/general dentistry setting
Ability to speak Punjabi or Hindi is an asset, as we serve a diverse patient population
