Mount Vernon Family Dentistry is a privately owned dental practice looking for a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team.

One-hour routine hygiene and periodontal maintenance appointments
Two-hour scaling and root planing appointments (per side)

What We're Looking For:
We're searching for someone who enjoys building relationships with patients, values teamwork, communicates well, and takes pride in providing excellent preventive care. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to patient education are just as important to us as clinical skills.

Responsibilities:
Perform routine prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing
Administer local anesthesia as needed
Take digital radiographs
Educate patients on oral health and treatment recommendations
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Prepare and maintain operatories
Assist with sterilization and infection control
Communicate effectively with patients and team members
Experience with PEB XLDent is a plus but not required, we're happy to train the right person.

Schedule:
Monday: 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
