Job Description
Our established general dentistry office is looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist. All experience levels are invited to apply. This is a part time RDH position. The working hours depend on your availability.
We are focused on extraordinary customer service, patient care and comfort.
We are looking for an RDH who has a great personality, positive attitude, who's warm and compassionate, and has excellent communication skills.
Our office schedule is Monday – Thursday from 8:45am – 5:15pm. 7 or 8 hour shifts are available.
We are very flexible with the days and hours we require and we are willing to accommodate your availability if you are the right candidate to join our team.
Responsibilities in addition to performing prophy, perio maintenance & SRP:
Screening patients during their hygiene visit
Reviewing a patient’s dental history
Educating patients on their oral health
Providing patients with proper flossing and brushing techniques
Applying fluoride treatments as required
Taking x-rays and intraoral photos and reviewing them for signs of dental diseases
Cleaning and setting up your rooms
Sterilization of instruments
