Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
$54–$61/hour | 32 hours/week | No weekends | Upper Arlington
We're looking for a great hygienist, but just as importantly, a genuinely kind person who wants to work somewhere kindness matters.
Splendental is a locally owned, independent dental practice in Upper Arlington. We've built our office around a simple idea: people deserve excellent dental care without judgment, pressure, or being made to feel uncomfortable.
A lot of our patients come to us because they were anxious about dentistry, had a bad experience somewhere else, are neurodivergent or have sensory sensitivities, or simply wanted an office where they would be treated like a person. We're proud to be an inclusive practice and especially proud of the trust our patients place in us.
We want a hygienist who enjoys that kind of dentistry.
What you'll find here
$54–$61/hour, based on experience
Approximately 32 hours per week
No weekends

We aren't interested in turning hygiene into an assembly line. We care about excellent clinical work, patient education, relationships and creating an environment where patients actually want to come back.
What you'll do
You'll provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal hygiene care, including:
Adult and pediatric prophylaxis
Scaling and root planing
Periodontal charting and maintenance
Radiographs
Fluoride and other preventive services
Patient education
Oral health screening and documentation
Collaboration with the dentist on treatment needs and long-term patient care
Our office is fully digital, with digital radiography, intraoral cameras and paperless charting.
Who we're looking for
You must have an active Ohio Registered Dental Hygienist license.
Beyond that, we're looking for someone who is dependable, clinically thoughtful, comfortable communicating with patients and genuinely enjoys helping people.
Experience is welcome, but the right personality and approach to patient care matter enormously to us.
Spanish-speaking candidates and candidates familiar with Fuse by Patterson Dental are especially welcome, but neither is required.
