Yuba City Family Dental is looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our clinical team on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity that may be a great fit for an experienced hygienist looking to add two consistent days to their schedule or someone seeking a stable part-time position with a patient-focused dental practice.

We are looking for a hygienist who provides excellent clinical care, communicates well with patients, and values being part of a collaborative dental team.

About the Position
Our hygienist plays an important role in both the clinical care and overall experience of our patients.

You will have the opportunity to build relationships with patients, educate them about their oral and periodontal health, collaborate with the doctor on treatment needs, and provide high-quality preventive and periodontal care.

What You'll Do
Provide preventive and periodontal hygiene care
Perform prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing as appropriate
Review medical and dental histories
Complete periodontal assessments and charting
Take digital radiographs as needed
Educate patients about oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care
Identify clinical concerns and communicate findings with the doctor
Support comprehensive treatment planning
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Follow infection control and sterilization protocols
Help maintain an efficient and positive patient experience
Collaborate with the doctor and clinical team
What We're Looking For
Active California Registered Dental Hygienist license required
Strong clinical hygiene skills
Excellent patient communication and education skills
Comfortable providing periodontal care and discussing treatment recommendations
Dependable, professional, and organized
Comfortable managing the hygiene schedule while collaborating with the dental team
Comfortable using digital dental technology
Previous dental hygiene experience preferred
Reliable transportation to Yuba City, CA

Compensation
