About the Opportunity
Yuba City Family Dental is looking for an experienced Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our growing dental team.

This role is best suited for a hygienist who is confident, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of the hygiene schedule. We are looking for someone who can work independently, communicate clearly with patients, support the doctor, and help create a strong patient experience.

Our office has a new doctor in the practice, and we are building a stronger team around patient care, communication, and long-term growth. The right person will bring professionalism, clinical confidence, reliability, and a team mindset.

Experienced and confident in clinical hygiene care
Able to work independently without needing constant direction
Comfortable taking ownership of the hygiene schedule and patient flow

Responsibilities
Perform dental hygiene procedures, including scaling, polishing, periodontal maintenance, and preventive care
Review medical histories and complete patient assessments
Take digital radiographs as needed
Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care
Identify periodontal concerns and communicate findings clearly
Support comprehensive treatment planning with the doctor
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Follow infection control and sterilization protocols
Help keep the hygiene schedule moving smoothly
Work collaboratively with the doctor and clinical team
Qualifications
Active California Registered Dental Hygienist license required
Minimum 3 years of RDH experience preferred
Strong communication and patient education skills
Comfortable with digital dental systems and technology
Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Yuba City, CA
Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
Must be confident working independently and managing the hygiene flow
Schedule
Part-Time ( 24 hours per week)
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9am -4pm

Compensation
$65-$70 per hour, depending on experience
