Registered Dental Hygienist

Eager Family Dentistry is seeking a skilled and compassionate dental hygienist to join our busy practice. The ideal candidate will be a part of a team that works closely to provide comprehensive oral health services while maintaining the highest starts of patient care and safety.

THIS POSITION IS FOR PART-TIME IN THE SUMMER AND WILL BE A FULL-TIME POSITION IN SEPTEMBER.

Key Responsibilities:
· Perform thorough dental cleanings and prophy treatments
· Conduct periodontal evaluations and scaling/root planning procedures
· Take dental radiographs using digital sensors and utilizing dental AI to confirm findings
· Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants
· Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
· Maintain detailed patient record and treatment documentation using Dentrix (or similar)
· Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards
· Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to optimize patient care, treatment planning and scheduling
Required Qualifications:
· Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
· Current RI dental hygiene license in good standing
· CPR certification required
· Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Attention to detail and commitment to patient comfort and safety
