Job Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist, where your expertise will play a vital role in delivering exceptional periodontal and general dental care. In this energetic and patient-focused position, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, educate patients on oral health maintenance, and support our commitment to infection prevention and high-quality care. Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, periodontal assessments, and patient examinations with precision and care.

Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring adherence to safety protocols and proper documentation.

Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health.

Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.

Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for accurate documentation of medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Monitor vital signs and assess medical history to identify any health concerns that could impact dental treatment.

Maintain strict infection prevention protocols, including aseptic techniques and equipment sterilization, in compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations.

Review medical records for accuracy, ensure confidentiality of patient information, and support HIPAA compliance management.

Skills
Proficiency in dental software platforms such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for scheduling, documentation review, and billing processes.

Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical coding to facilitate clear communication within the team.

Expertise in pediatric dentistry techniques when working with pediatric patients to ensure gentle yet effective care.

Skilled in dental equipment operation, including dental x-ray machines, ultrasonic scalers, and other hygiene tools.

Excellent patient communication skills to educate patients effectively about their oral health status and treatment options.

Experience with healthcare infection prevention and control practices to maintain a safe clinical environment.

Ability to perform patient assessments accurately, including vital signs measurement and medical history review.

Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for managing electronic health records efficiently while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
