Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct oral health assessments, including periodontal charting and oral cancer screenings.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, dietary habits, and preventive care strategies.
Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatment planning as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards and practice policies.
Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment to ensure a safe clinical environment.
Provide postoperative instructions and follow-up care guidance to patients for optimal oral health outcomes.
Foster a welcoming environment that encourages patient comfort, trust, and engagement.
Requirements
Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state or regional regulations.
Proven experience in performing dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapy.
Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, infection control protocols, and sterilization procedures.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients of diverse backgrounds.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary dental team.
Attention to detail with strong organizational skills for managing patient records and clinical tasks.
