Registered Dental Hygienist

Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Sequim, WA

Small, single-doctor dental practice in Sequim is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join a well-organized, efficient team in a fun and supportive environment.

We are currently seeking a part-time RDH (3 days per week) to cover Tuesday through Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental hygiene procedures including scaling, root planing, and prophylaxis.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide individualized recommendations.
• Take digital radiographs.
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation as needed.
• Maintain a sterile and compliant clinical environment.
• Document patient care and treatment in electronic health records.
• Follow infection control protocols to ensure patient and staff safety.

Schedule

• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits

• $65 – $70/hour

Requirements

• Active RDH license and in good standing with WSDHA.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols.
• Ability to assess patient needs and deliver appropriate care.
• Experience with dental charting and documentation (preferred).
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
