Registered Dental Hygienist – Smile Fitness Dental Center
Location: Smile Fitness Dental Center | Sky Desert Ranch, Phoenix, AZ
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Thursday | 4 Days/Week
Compensation: $50–$55/hour, based on experience
Practice: General Dentistry
Patient Mix: PPO & Fee-for-Service
About the Opportunity
Smile Fitness Dental Center is looking for a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our established Phoenix practice. This is a four-day-per-week position, Monday through Thursday, in a PPO and fee-for-service environment.
We’re looking for a hygienist who values patient education, preventative care, and building long-term relationships with patients while working collaboratively with the doctor and clinical team.
What You’ll Do
Provide comprehensive preventative and periodontal hygiene care
Perform prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing
Complete periodontal charting and assess patients' periodontal health
Take diagnostic radiographs as needed
Educate patients on oral health, home care, and recommended treatment
Identify areas of concern and communicate findings with the doctor
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Support an efficient, patient-focused clinical environment
Collaborate closely with doctors, dental assistants, and the front office team
What We’re Looking For
Active Arizona Dental Hygienist license in good standing
Strong periodontal assessment and clinical hygiene skills
Comfortable educating patients and discussing recommended care
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Dependable and comfortable working as part of a collaborative team
Commitment to providing a positive patient experience
Schedule
This is a full-time, four-day-per-week position. The practice is open Monday through Thursday, providing a consistent schedule with three-day weekends.
Compensation & Benefits
$50–$55/hour, based on experience

Requirements
Active Dental Hygiene License in New York
Local Anesthesia Certification (if applicable by state)
Current CPR/BLS Certification
Strong communication and patient education skills
Commitment to quality patient care
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Preferred
Laser Certification
Experience with assisted hygiene models
Experience in PPO, Fee-for-Service, and/or Medicaid environments
Experience with periodontal therapy
Experience with patient education and treatment acceptance
Bilingual skills
