Job Description
Overview
Join our dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque and tartar buildup effectively.
Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, reviewing medical histories, and dental examinations to ensure comprehensive care.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
Manage medical imaging procedures such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
Review and document medical records accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Maintain strict infection control standards, including sterilization of instruments and proper handling of dental materials in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Experience
Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist.
Familiarity with dental terminology, medical coding, and documentation review processes.
Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft to ensure precise record keeping and efficient workflow.
Strong understanding of anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques necessary for safe clinical practice.
Pay: $42.00 - $48.00 per hour
