Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform thorough dental cleanings, and support overall oral health education. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a focus on patient comfort and quality service. Candidates with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for dentistry are encouraged to apply. This position is open to full or part time candidates.
Responsibilities
Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take and develop dental radiographs/scans as needed for diagnosis and treatment planning
Provide oral health education and personalized care instructions to patients
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with efficiency and professionalism
Maintain accurate patient records using GOLD dental management software
Ensure the sterilization and proper handling of dental instruments and equipment
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent patient experience
Address patient questions regarding oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
Requirements
Current registration with CRDHA
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures is a plus
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and safety protocols
