Job Description
Our private, one doctor practice is looking for a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team!! Our office is equipped with the latest technologies to provide the best patient care, making appointments a breeze for both our Hygienists and our patients. If you're passionate about oral health and are excited about creating positive patient experiences, we hope to hear from you!
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and scaling procedures to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Assess patients’ periodontal health and record vital signs accurately.
Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information in Dentrix or similar software.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as necessary.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care for pediatric and adult patients.
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and general dentistry practices.
Familiarity with infection control standards in a dental office setting.
Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental software for managing patient records.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
A compassionate approach to patient care with a commitment to promoting oral health education.
Schedule
Full time
Monday- Thursday 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
