Job Description
REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST needed at a pediatric dental office from 8:15am-5:30pm on Wednesday, June 24 and Thursday, June 25 (2 Days)
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings and scaling
- Conduct patient assessments and oral health screenings
- Provide oral hygiene instructions and educate patients on proper dental care techniques
- Take dental x-rays
- Maintain a clean and sterile working environment
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft (preferred)
- Experience working with children
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and the dental team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for accurate record keeping
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using dental instruments and equipment for patient care
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and adherence to aseptic techniques
