Job Description
We are a local, well-established, private dental office located in Pueblo West looking to fill a part-time position. We are looking for someone that prides him/herself on patient care and customer service. Patient care is always at the forefront of our practice values.
Qualified applicants must have a valid license to practice dental hygiene in the state of Colorado, are preferred to have a minimum of 1 year prior dental experience and a working knowledge of the Dentrix practice management software is also preferred.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
▪ Routine dental cleanings
▪ Taking digital radiographs
▪ Patient education
▪ Periodontal charting
▪ Entering detailed clinical exam notes
▪ Administration of anesthetic & nitrous oxide
▪ Scaling and root planning
▪ Other duties that come standard with a dental hygiene position.
Required - knowledge and adherence dental OSHA standards & maintaining HIPAA compliance
Job Type: Temporary position to cover medical leave from August 3 -November2 2026
Part-time: Thursday: 7:45-5:15 Friday: 7:45-2:45
Pay: Compensation to be determined based on qualifications and experience
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
