McGonigle Dental is looking for a positive, kind, energetic, and dependable Dental Hygienist to join our team!

We are seeking someone who enjoys building relationships with patients, takes pride in providing excellent care, and wants to be part of a friendly, supportive, and team-oriented dental practice.

Both full-time and part-time candidates are welcome to apply.

Schedule & Hours
We offer flexibility with days and hours and are happy to work with the right candidate to create a schedule that works well for both you and our practice.

Evening availability is important for this position, so we are looking for someone who is open to working some evening hours as part of their regular schedule. Specific days and hours are flexible and can be discussed during the interview process.

What You'll Do
As a Dental Hygienist at McGonigle Dental, you will:
Provide high-quality preventive and periodontal care
Perform patient screenings and review medical and dental histories
Educate patients on oral health and home-care recommendations
Take necessary dental radiographs and maintain accurate patient records
Communicate findings and collaborate with our doctors and clinical team
Help create a comfortable, positive experience for every patient
Maintain proper infection-control and clinical standards
Support the team in keeping the schedule running efficiently and on time
What We're Looking For

Organized with strong time-management skills
Confident in their knowledge of dental hygiene and overall dentistry
Comfortable using dental technology and computer-based patient records
Open to working some evening hours as part of a flexible schedule
Required Qualifications
Current Illinois Dental Hygienist License
Associate's degree or higher in Dental Hygiene from an accredited Dental Hygiene Program
Local Anesthetic certification
Nitrous Oxide certification
Current CPR certification
First Aid certification
Preferred Experience
Experience with Eaglesoft, DEXIS, Romexis, and/or Planmeca is a plus. However, we encourage qualified hygienists who are willing to learn to apply.
