Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and oral health evaluations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to their needs.
Assist the dentist during examinations
Take digital dental radiographs while adhering to infection control standards and aseptic techniques.
Review medical records and documentation to ensure accurate patient information.
Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.
Qualifications
Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current credentials.
Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and dental coding for accurate documentation.
Knowledge of infection control protocols, aseptic technique.
Strong understanding of pediatric dentistry principles when working with children or adolescent patients.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate clearly.
Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
