Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health.

Assess patient oral health status through thorough examinations and review of medical and dental histories.

Take dental radiographs accurately.

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment options to foster long-term dental health.

Monitor vital signs and review medical records to ensure patient safety during visits.

Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and adhere to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality.

Document treatment notes, review documentation for accuracy, and update medical records efficiently in compliance with medical coding standards.

Qualifications
Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice.

Proven experience in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry environments.

Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and documentation review processes.

Strong knowledge of anatomy, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice.

Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically.

Pay: $46.00 - $50.00 per hour
