This position is specifically for TUESDAYS, 8:40am - 5:40pm
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions with clarity and empathy
Ensure strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy
Qualifications
Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations
Proven experience in general dentistry settings with familiarity in dental terminology and documentation review
Strong knowledge of infection control practices, medical imaging, and medical coding standards
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse age groups
Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and medical records management is essential for accurate documentation and assessment
