Registered Dental Hygienist — Two Days per Month

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, patient-focused, and production-driven Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental practice.

This is an exciting opportunity to become the first hygienist on our team. We are looking for an experienced professional who enjoys building patient relationships, identifying treatment needs, supporting case acceptance, and helping establish a productive hygiene department.

Position
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Schedule
Two consistent days per month to start, with the opportunity to add more days as patient demand, production, and the hygiene schedule grow.

Responsibilities
Provide thorough preventive cleanings and periodontal maintenance
Complete comprehensive periodontal charting and clinical assessments
Take necessary dental radiographs
Perform scaling and root planing when clinically indicated
Recognize and clearly communicate periodontal and other clinical findings
Collaborate with the dentist on treatment planning and sequencing of care
Educate patients about diagnosed conditions and recommended treatment
Help patients understand the value and importance of completing needed care
Support case acceptance and follow-up on unscheduled treatment
Work toward established daily hygiene production goals
Help maintain a productive, well-organized schedule
Identify opportunities for same-day treatment when appropriate
Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation
Help develop efficient hygiene protocols, scheduling systems, and production goals
Collaborate with the dentist and team to provide an excellent patient experience
Qualifications
Current California Registered Dental Hygienist license
Professional, reliable, and personable
Gentle, compassionate, and patient-focused
Production-driven while maintaining ethical clinical judgment
Strong periodontal assessment and treatment-planning skills
Confident discussing clinical findings and recommended treatment with patients
Comfortable supporting case acceptance and practice growth
Able to balance excellent patient care with schedule and production goals
Organized, efficient, and attentive to clinical documentation
Interested in contributing ideas and helping establish a new hygiene program
Collaborative team member who wants to grow with the practice

Compensation
Competitive and based on experience.
