Job Description
Finished by 3:00. Every day. Never work a Friday.
27 clinical hours a week. $83,000 to $98,000+.
Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 to 3:00. Thursday, 8:00 to 2:00. That is the whole schedule. No nights, no weekends, no Fridays, and no 6:40 a.m. start.
Twenty-seven hours is part-time hours. The pay is not part-time pay. That is the entire idea behind this position, and we built the practice around it on purpose.
The comparison nobody does for you
Most full-time hygiene jobs in Cincinnati run 32 to 39 hours a week. The highest-paying ones start before 7:00 a.m. and run past 5:00 p.m. four days a week.
With us, you’ll work roughly 500 fewer hours a year and still make a great income. That is twelve working weeks of your life back, every year, permanently.
What you are actually paid
Most hygiene postings say "competitive pay." Here is the actual arrangement:
You are paid 32% of adjusted production on everything performed in your chair, excluding the doctor exam. We are privately owned and fully fee for service, so adjusted production runs about 98% of gross. There are no insurance write-offs eating your number and no PPO fee schedule setting a ceiling on it.
A hygienist who maintains and/or builds their schedule and drives perio acceptance earns more. There is no cap.
What the job actually is
Fee for service, cosmetic and restorative. No PPO write-offs, no insurance-driven treatment planning.
60-minute minimum appointments. (Except for young kids.) Single column. You are not being asked to do a prophy in 40 minutes.
No daily production quota handed down from anyone. No regional manager. No corporate scorecard.
Full clinical autonomy on perio recommendations and recall intervals.
3 hygiene rooms, with iTero, Cavitron, Pearl AI (x-ray and voice notes), Florida Probe perio charting.
Being straight with you about the package
This is a production-based role, structured the same way we pay our associate dentists. There is no health insurance contribution and no paid holidays.
Who this is really for
If you want to maximize income and you do not care what time you get home, there are practices in this city that will pay you more than this.
This position is for the hygienist who wants to do school pickup every single day. Who went part-time or per diem for schedule reasons and took the pay cut to do it. Who is tired of learning a new practice management system every Tuesday.
You should not have to choose between the schedule and the paycheck. Here you do not.
To apply
Email us directly. This email will take you straight to the owners so that they can get back to you ASAP to discuss your future.
Send a resume, or just a paragraph about where you are and what you are looking for.
