Responsibilities
Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision and adherence to safety protocols
Conduct oral health assessments, including periodontal screenings and patient examinations
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, diet, and preventive care strategies
Assist with patient management by updating medical histories and documenting treatment plans accurately
Collaborate with dentists and team members to ensure seamless patient care delivery
Maintain strict infection control standards and sterilize dental instruments following regulatory guidelines
Qualifications
Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of practice
Proven experience providing comprehensive dental hygiene services in a clinical setting
Strong knowledge of oral health procedures, radiography, and infection control protocols
Excellent communication skills to educate and motivate patients effectively
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team
