Take dental radiographs using digital imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental health status.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to their needs.
Maintain accurate electronic health records, ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
Support infection prevention management by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols in accordance with healthcare standards.
Requirements
Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations.
Proven experience in general dentistry or dental clinic environments, with a focus on patient care and education.
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and medical coding relevant to dental care.
Strong understanding of dental equipment operation, X-ray safety procedures, and infection prevention practices.
Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and patient education.
